Greetings Church - A Word from Pastor Matt Bromley

Hello Church!

It was awesome worshipping with you all yesterday.  Thank you all for being such a blessing to me every time we get to spend time together!!!  Seeing your heart for The Lord always makes me smile and I thank God for you all whenever I think of you.

Our prayer time yesterday was especially meaningful.  As I said, I have mixed feelings about liturgical prayer times… but it was great praying with you all for Ukraine in that unique way!

For those of you who missed it, we spent time praying through two different prepared prayers that we read aloud together.  It was nice to be prompted to pray differently than we may be used to.  I had a third prayer prepared for yesterday, but didn’t use it. I thought I might add it to the end of this email for us all to be praying through this week.

I wanted to take a moment to ask for some help with set-up for the next two months.  We are meeting on the 2nd and 4th Sunday’s of each month.  Having a family there early to help with set-up each week would be extremely helpful.  I am especially looking for help for April 24th as I will be out of town performing a wedding that weekend.

I have five slots for families to sign up for…

April 10 (one family)

April 24 (two families -one who is able to pick up the van)

May8 (one family)

May 22 (one family)

If you are available, simply reply to this email to let me know and I will add you to the set-up list.

Thank you so much!  Looking forward to serving with you these next two months!

I hope and pray that each of you is having a wonderful Monday and I look forward to seeing you all again on April 10th!

Blessings~

Pastor Matt

Heavenly Father-

We pray today for the Ukrainian people and ask for Your intervention in this senseless war levied against them by Russia. We pray, O God, for protection and that there would be peace. We pray for restoration and renewed hope. We pray for the families, especially, the children living through the horrors of war and all the upheaval and tribulation it brings. We also pray for those protesting in Russia against these violent acts by their government. We ask that You would protect, cover and keep these protesters as they put their bodies on the line in the name of what is just and righteous. We pray for the entire world community, including the leaders in our own country. Give them wisdom and ingenuity to respond in ways that ends this war and moves us all to a world where Your peace abides. Hear the cries of Your people, O God. Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Amen.
